Help! I thought my name was called on the intercom at the local Sam's Club but it was not for me! EMBARRESING!?
HELP! I was perusing my local Sam's Club super store market, you know, just doing a bit of bulked shopping when I heard over the loud speak "Jan please come to your register, Jan please report to your register" (Jan is my name) I promptly dropped the gallon tub of butter I was retreiving out of the refridgerated section, and began to hoist my cart and push myself through to the register as apparently I was being needed. I was not sure why I was being called to a register, I just knew I needed to get there fast so they would not call me out again. As soon as I arrived at the reg ster, the cashier began unloading my cart and I halted her and asked her to seize fondling my items and said "NO! I am still perusing, I was called to come to the reg ster over the int com immediately, my name is Jan and I am reporting ok?" The woman then said, "um, Jan McDougle is our cashier #3 and we were calling HER (our employee) to come to the register to help bag and check customers, we were not calling you ma'am" I just looked at her with a very domineered and confused face and said "No, I believe you were speaking to me on the int com system" She then told me in a very forceful way "Ma'am! How would we know your name and why would we call you to YOUR register? Do you have a register here? Are you now a Sams Club employee? I didnt think so, MOVE ON" I just looked at her while slowly backing my cart with my jaw dropped and proceeded to accidentally ram her cash check booth repeatedly with my over-sized, squeaking, fully stuffed shop cart before I took off and left all of my items. I am very embarresed about my name being hoisted through the int com system at Sam's club.
