Should I take private ballet lessons?

If this is a ballet academy, often they have open classes for teens and/or adults. You wouldn't be in their pre-professional program if this is a serious school, but do check to see what they may have available for you. You would do better as a beginner to be in group classes. Private lessons are for working on specific problems that need improvement and are expensive. They are also best taken after a regular class because your body is already warmed up and you can go right to work. Contact them and find out. It may be listed on their website if they have one.
